Visit To Bela

We did it again!...we made it to Vesces to visit Bela but we did not manage to go to mass this time. The first time we went we made it but this time we were sleepy since we went to a Wine Festival en Etyek. Vesces is close to the Airport and we went to have some nice talk and A MA ZING lunch as usual with our friend Bela and Peter, both Holy fathers. Sara came with us this time and took a cool nap..like me and Duncan. Bela helped Jesse to find out more about Jesse's ancestors. They discovered that Jesse's great greatparents were in Kassa (Kosice) - Slovakia which was part of Hungary before. We were there several times because we went to pick up our visas. Peter hale was there and so Duncan. Barbara, our loved neighbour in NY is from there too, we are amazed!. They managed to find out what is in all those documents and birth certificates....amazing...this will continue...and every time we go there we ended up in food coma, everything is so tasty and Bela & Peter are such great guys. WE LOVE THEM!!!///Lo hicimos otra vez, fuimos a Vesces, un pueblito q esta cerca del aeropuerto de Budapest. Fuimos a visitar a Bela, un cura parroco que es muy amigo nuestro y que visitamos ya por segunda vez. Esta vez no logramos llegar a misa a tiempo, pero si lllegamos para el almuerzo. Siempre es IMPRESIONANTE. El otro cura es Peter, los dos son unos personajes barbaros. Los queremos mucho. Llevamos a Sara y luego de comer se quedo dormida, yo dormi en el jardin, echado con Duncan. Bela ayudo a Jesse a averiguar mas sobre sus parientes aca en Hungria. Descubrieron que los tatatarabuelos vivian en Kassa- (ahora Kosice) en Eslovakia, ahi fuimos varias veces a buscar nuestras visas y Peter hale tambien estubo ahi. antes era parte de Hungria. uestra vecina Barbara , en NY es de ahi tambien!! Increible.!!

Dracula's Castle & Friendly vampires/castillo de Dracula y vampiamigos

So, we drove...well...Jesse & Co....to Bran....where bloddysucker home is and we finally made it after 2 hours of confusion. There it was....magnificent and ready to be explore....guess what....we couldn't!!!...it was closed....damn closed....it seemed that Vlad was sucking blood somewhere else At that moment Jesse started talking to a friendly couple from Bucharest and it turned that they weren't vampires...theye were the most friendly couple ever. We went for lunch and then we were off to Brasov, a big city closer to Bran. we had an amazing time with them, so fuck Dracula!// Bueno, manejamos dos horas, hatsa Bran, donde esta el castillo de Dracula. Llegamos, estaba ahi, bellisimo e imponente....y cerrado. Pueden creer?...estaba cerrado por ser el finde largo del dia del trabajador. En ese momento Jesse se puso a hablar con una pareja re copada. Fuimos a comer juntos y nos fuimos todos para Brasov, la segunda ciudad mas grande de Transilvanya. Paseamos y luego os despedimos, al carajo el castillo, encontramos nuevos amigos de Bucharest.

Sigioshoara- Rumania

10 hours after being in the car we arrived to Sigishoara. Amazing town with cute corners, cafes and a clock tower. The landscape in Rumania is unbelievable, I saw a lot of gypsies in their traditional clothes. people there are son nice. We camped with Jesse for one night and next day we slept in a cozy place. They have a beautiful cemetery too. After 2 days there we have to travel to Bran, where Dracula's castle is so we can keep going with Meheran's short film.//Luego de 10 horas de viaje en auto llegamos a Sigishoara. El peublo es increible, medieval, con callecitas, cafes y una torre de unos cuantos miles de años con un reloj. Visitamos tambien el cementerio, es hermoso. Acampamos con Jesse la primer noche y la segunda nos quedamos en un hotelcito. El paisaje de Rumania es increible, hermoso. Lleno de pastores con ovejas y de gitanas en sus ropas tradicionales.

Maxi's Birthday

Yes, I'm old....we have drinks with my pals of the day centre. Loveeeely. 32 years old.....bah.....nothing!!///Si, estoy viejo, festejamos enla terraza con amigos del asilo. Cumpli 32.....nada...no?

Kristina & Mehran

The O.C. guys arrived after being in Chicago and they were ready to taste Goulash and all sort of Culinary thing from here. But we offered them mostly cheese that Shahar & Dana brought....we still have! we went walking and sightseeing the city. Mehran started to prepare and study the script for his short film about Vampires and Kristina was studying the pipe system in the bathroom and she was punished. We were all ready to go to Bran castle in Transylvania.....most famous as Dracula's castle.....ahahahahhaah////Los chicos de OC salieron de LA y fueron para Chicago y luego aca. Estaban cansados pero con ganas de probar el Goulash y toda comida hungara. Desafortunadamanete les dimos queso, casi todos los dias, ya que teniamos de sobra, todo lo que habia traido Shahar y todavia tenemos!. Mehran prepara su pelicula, el guion y todo eso y Kristina estudiaba el sistema de cañerias en el baño y fue castigada. (se le callo la ducha en la nariz y la lastimo)

Paris

Jesse surprised me with a trip to Paris for 4 days for my Birthday so we went to the city of lights. We stayed in a B&B in front of Place de la Republique and we walked all over, have coffee in little cafes, went to Musee D'Orsay, we both had pain in our feet so we got new sneakers (one of my presents) and in one of the bridges that cross the Siena he gave me my main present ta....ta...atn!!....A kite!!, it's so cool....I have to fly it though...dahh. We had a picnic at the bottom of the Eiffel tower and the next day we went up, to the top!.We really stretched time there I LOVED IT//Jesse me sorprendio con un viaje a Paris por mi cumple, asi que fuimos por 4 dias. Paramos en un departamento frente a la Plaza de la Republica. Nos caminamos todo, fuimos a pequeños cafes a comer o a tomar un cafecito, fuios al museo de Orsay, caminamos por el Siena y el canal San Martin, hicismos un picnic al lado de la torre eiffel, en el parque, al otro dia decidimos subir a la punta y te da un miedito terrible. Compramos zapatillas nuevas ya que no dabamos mas con las nuestras. Jesse me dio el regalo de cumple en uno d elos puentes que cruza el siena y me regalo una cometa profesional que no tengo idea de como se usa pero la volaremos cuando salgamos de camping. La verdad es que se nos hizo largo y ree lindo el viaje.

Mimi & Jerry in Budapest

Mimi & Jerry arrived!! They are like a twister, they arrived and they shook Budapest. They always bring laughs, goodies and Loove. We went to an amazing Thai restaurant and also we did the Kids Railway damn thing, it took us so long to figure it out but we finally did it. We also went to the most creepiest, weirdest and confusing Passover's Cedar ever! - It's always good to have family around.// Mimi y Jerry llegaron!!!, son como un remolino, llegaron y nos cagamos de risa, salimos a comer afuera y encontramos un restaurante Thailandes buenisimo. Tambien fuimos d eapseo en el tren que es manejado por chicos, nos costo un huevo encontrarlo ya que no hay mucha info en ingles, pero lo encontramos e hicimos la mierda esa, pero es re lindo, vale la pena.

Dana & Shahar take Shana tova to another level

These girls brought so much cheese into Budapest that I was shocked when I saw their bags full of Camambert, Brie...Goat....pounds and pounds of delicious cheese that they bought in Paris I was amazed that the customs official wasn't inside that bag!. Before they went back to Israel, Shahar and her sister visited us and we had a really nice time with them. I promise Shahar that I won't post pictures of her eating so I will not....well...maybe.... We went to Szentendre for a day and we chant and took pics. Dana showed me the Kabuts online since I did not have too much information about them and I'm sure we will visit. They brought the Israeli sun to Budapest.//Las chicas nos trajeron no se cuantos kilos de queso, no podia creer la cantidad de queso que pasaron por la aduana. Estuvieron en paris y antes de irse a Israel pasaron por aca a visitarnos. La pasamos re lindo, la verdad que son un cago de risa. Dan me mostro los kabuts, que es donde labura. Las iremos a visitar pronto. Le prometi a Shahar que no iba a poner una foto de ella comiendo, pero veremos...dijo Lemos, Coronel retirado de la gendarmeria paranaense.

Anya & Nadja's visit

Anya and Nadja came to visit and brought nice Russian/American flavor to Budapest. We went for nice dinners and great wine tasting close to our home. We watched Little Britain and eat desserts, and oh!....eggs in the basket Bkfst... yes.....stuffing our faces (like Sam's said). Mom & daughter kicked off the 2007 season of guests!//// Anya y Nadja vinieron a visitarnos y abrieron la temporada de amigos que vienen a visitarnos. Fuimos a catar vinos a unos locales y nos pusimos en pedo, miramos Little Britain en la tele mientras comiamos postres y desayunamos huevos en la canasta.
